Exquisite Suri & Silky Llamas

When Looking for a new show girl or boy, your next up and coming herdsire, a great breeding female, or just a family pet look no further than Sapaveco. If you are new to the llama world and just getting started we can help you in your new venture! We have something to fit everyone's style. At Sapaveco Ranches we strive to breed for stretchy llamas with substance, suri or silky fiber, correct conformation, and a pleasing disposition. Each cria is worked with from birth to create a great, all around animal.

Our llamas are placing at the top of their classes at both the local and national level. Look for our stalls next time your at a show. Many of our animals have gone top 10 at the ILR Gathering & ALSA Grand Nationals, Celebrity Futurity, and LFA Futurity with many being Champions at these national events and at other shows across the country!

We currently have three breeding males as well as an up and coming young boy we have held back to join our herdsire group. Champagner, our main suri herdsire, has proven himself champion in the show ring many times over.  Champagner was the 2010 Champion Suri Male 16-24 mos at the Celebration Futurity! He was also Best of Show at the 2011 Ozark Classic. Champagner kids continue to excel in the show ring and make us proud!  LAMS Nutcracker, our suri mega champion, adds excitement to our herd.  He is the only llama to ever win Celebrity two times (in consecutive years), LFA Futurity, and Nationals!  His babies are outrageous and have garnered lots of attention.  Our heavy wool, silky herdsire is GNLC Crocket (GNLC Merlin x GNLC Silver Lining), ILR UAP & ALSA Halter Champion and 4x Best of Show, ILR National Champion, ILR Supreme Champion (1st ever), and LFA Maturity Champion.  We have held back a young Champagner son, Sapaveco’s Invitation Only, to join our herdisre line up when of age.  He shows great promise with big bone, silver and white suri fiber, and great presence! Our females are also an integral part of our herd. They have been chosen for their conformation, fiber, size, and disposition. Many of them are champions as well.

We have a second location between Florissant and Guffey, CO at 9,000 ft elevation. We keep our llamas in Colorado in the summer to beat the Texas heat.

All of our llamas are registered with the International Llama Registry.
